Flight to Plum Island in Piper Super Cub

In this video I fly the Super Cub from Laconia, NH (KLCI) to Plum Island, MA (2B2) to check out the northeastern Massachusetts seacoast scenery. While at Plum Island airport, waiting out for thunderstorms to dissipate back in the lakes region NH area, I got the chance to see some R/C Model airplanes being flown at the airport.Show more

Plum Island Airport has two runways, a paved strip (10-28) and a grass strip (14-32), with the paved runway measuring 2,105’ x 50’ and the grass strip measuring 2,300x100. If you’re flying in the northeast it’s a great little airport to check out, and it’s close to Newburyport.
