The Best Hike in Colorado for Kids!
Do you want to see what many might consider to be the top hike in Colorado with kids? The Ouray Perimeter Trail is an awesome 7.2 mile loop around the town of Ouray, Colorado with approximately 1,600 feet of elevation gain! As "The Switzerland of America", Ouray has earned this title with its amazingly well maintained trail that surrounds the picturesque town as well as its stunning mountain views. There are numerous spots to start this hike located around the town if you don't have time to complete the full loop with your children. This is a must-do trail if you are ever in the Ouray/ Ridgway/ Telluride area!
