Back in 2005 when I was developing my Star Wars mod for AvP2, I put out the idea to any mappers who would want to develop Star Wars maps to be bundled in the mod. I had a bunch of takers but only two mappers actually came through with a finished product. The first was Artalavista, who made two maps for the mod. One of the maps was was SW_Republic_Destroyer for multiplayer. He also made a singleplayer version, which is this map, re-titled as "Assassin".

At the time I gave Artalavista no direction other than it had to be Star Wars themed. He saw much of what I was developing for the mod and his imagination took over. He based the map around the episode 2 - 3 time frame with the republic destroyers as the setting for the map. He definitely went all out with the title crawl, using the custom textures to replicate the interior of the ship, custom sound effects, etc. Since the map was bundled with my mod, a lot of it works together quite well.

In the map, the player plays as a female Jedi taking on a bunch of Imperial troops in an attempt to eliminate Imperial Governors at some secret meeting with a Sith lord. The hologram is a super nice touch. Personally I love the map and it's a pretty big departure from other horror-oriented AvP2 maps. I highly recommend the map.
