Service Dog: Public Access at Halloween Store with Wato!

Hiya y'all, Gemini here! So, here's a LONG video for you! My girl thoroughly enjoyed waving all these weird things in front of our faces today, sheesh! But, as you see, no big deal. We might sniff here and there, but that's it and we back off when told to if we actually sniff at all. And this was my first time actually in a Halloween store as well, but my girl said she was super proud of both of us! Apologies ahead of time for some of the weird camera work as my girl walked to and from grabbing things to show us.Show more

Really important note here - you will see the fun my girl had with this spider that was jumping AT us (and at others depending on who was walking by/activating it). First, it was funny when she jumped and subsequently the camera jumped when she was trying to get it to do just that while she filmed us. Second, you'll notice on one video for both Wato and me that we jumped a little as we walked by the spider jumping at us - you will ALSO notice that NEITHER of us broke our heel, even when jumping some from that crazy thing! As my girl has said many times and will say many more I'm sure, we're still dogs. There is this big thing jumping at us, it's totally normal to react like most of the humans that walked by the stupid thing, as long as we can handle it and keep going. My girl says she was REALLY proud of both of us for how we handled that weird thing! I was off-leash as usual and still didn't break my heel, even though it made me jump otherwise. Today definitely shows great examples both of good training techniques and that dogs are dogs no matter how well-trained we are, but that training takes over in the end.
