One Minute Piano - Beginner Lesson #4

In Beginner Lesson #4 you will learn the G major chord with you right and left hands, including the proper fingers to use on each key of the piano.

Each video lesson will feature on-screen EZ Read Sheet Music with the letter name of each note displayed inside each note head.

An interactive piano keyboard will be displayed at the bottom of each video showing where each note in the sheet music is located on the piano keyboard.

Right hand notes will always be displayed as blue keys on the interactive piano keyboard. Left hand notes will always be displayed as gold keys on the interactive piano keyboard.

This color differential will make it much easier to distinguish right hand notes from left hand notes.

If you truly want to understand music at a deep level, then chords are the key component to every song ever written.

This is the reason why I will focus on teaching you basic chords for your right and left hands for the first month of lessons.

If you are a vocalist, you will play mostly chords with your right hand and simple bass notes with your left hand.

If your main focus is to accompany yourself or another vocalist on piano, then you should check out One Minute Piano For Singers:

However, if you are not a singer and have no plans to accompany a singer, then you are at the right place. Of course, if you truly want to be a well rounded musician, you can always subscribe to both channels.

The Goal of One Minute Piano

The video piano lessons at One Minute Piano are designed to help busy students of all ages and all skill levels learn how to play the piano.

Many students today don’t have time to attend 30-minute lessons in person — nor do they have the time to practice 45 to 60 minutes every day.

The video piano lessons at One Minute Piano are designed to provide short bursts of musical instruction that can be learned relatively fast.

Even though I will be uploading a new one minute piano lesson every day, you can progress at a pace that is comfortable for you.

As I mention above and as you will see in each 1-minute video lesson, notes played with your right hand will always be displayed as blue keys on the interactive piano keyboard at the bottom of each video — and notes played with your left hand will always be displayed as gold keys.

In order to keep each video lesson as short as possible, commentary will be kept to a minimum, which shouldn’t be a problem since each lesson was designed to be extremely intuitive.

Of course, if you have a question, please post it in the Comments Section. I will respond to all comments within 24 to 48 hours.

Thank you for your interest in One Minute Piano and One Minute Piano For Singers.

Enjoy!
