Hibikinada Green Park Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan

This is the Hibikinada Park, known as “Green Park”, the biggest park in Kitakyushu City. Located in northern Kyushu, it’s home to the longest swing in the world (http://www.worldrecordacademy.org/games/longest-swing-hibikinada-green-park-219226). There are animals to interact with, friendly butterflies that would sit on your hand if invited, a tropical ecology garden, a rose garden, large spaces for picnics, etc. Bikes, carts, paddle boats can be rented. November 2020 was warm enough for a visit.
