NOVEMBER 30 WORLD PET DAY

It was decided to celebrate it in Italy in 1931 at the International forum for the protection of nature, which was held in Florence.

Animal lovers are thinking about ways to instill responsibility for all life on the planet. It was decided to start with Pets that live side by side with humans.

The situation was acute, because the attitude towards animals was getting worse every year - there were more and more abandoned and maimed cats and dogs. Then the assessors decided to choose a date dedicated entirely to Pets. On this day, you need to remind each other that tailed animals need love and care.

HOW TO CELEBRATE WORLD PET DAY

In Italy, the USA and Canada, bright flash mobs are held on November 30. Columns with posters pass through the streets, attracting public attention. In addition, concerts with staged performances and songs about love for our smaller brothers are organized in cities.

In other countries, people participate in the bell project on This day. At the same time, by agreement, adults and children start ringing the bells, regardless of where they are. The ringing calls for people not to keep animals as slaves in cramped cages.

PET DAY IN RUSSIA

Russia joined the celebration relatively recently - according to one version, in 2000, according to another - in 2002, but this is not officially fixed in any way, so the authorities do not arrange events. But volunteers, animal lovers, and many organizations across the country are taking the initiative and celebrating the day anyway. For example, in some cities animals get free vaccinations, in other cities flash mobs are held and lessons are held for children.

Shelters organize open days. In the Sverdlovsk region, for example, this year animals were given a free train pass, and various companies are conducting research on which city Pets live best.
