Microchip That Can Heal Any Part Of Your Body
Ohio State University researchers say they can heal start healing in fractions of a second.
The technology, known as Tissue Nanotransfection (TNT)
A silicon microchip is used to "injects genetic code into skin cells, turning those skin cells into other types of cells required for treating diseased conditions"
The chip goes on an injury and they apply an electric current.
Director of the Center for Regenerative Medicine and Cell-Based Therapies, Chandra Sen, said It can heal any kind of tissue, including for brain functions. it's the first time cells have been reprogrammed in a live body.
Injured limbs, nerve damage, parkinsons, stroke, alzethemierz, all healed.
They’ve healed some mice. Human tests are on schedule for this year in 2017, and the technology is awaiting approval of the FDA for medical use.
