Let me explain, a floppy disk, a computer tape--two actual physical devices that Richard Dawkins has compared DNA to--an SDCARD, a microSD card, a Hard Drive, these are all actual, physical devices. They are NOT ANALOGIES OF ONE ANOTHER. These are NOT CONCEPTS, these are real, actual, physical devices that exist, JUST LIKE THE DNA MOLECULE is an Actual, real, physical information storage system. So what do these computer devices do? They store, programs, Data, instructions, algorithms, digital characters, JUST LIKE THE DNA OF THE WILLOW TREE DOES. What Richard Dawkins did say is that 'it is [actually] raining instructions, out there; it's [actually] raining programs; it's [actually] raining....algorithms. How are they being rained down on the countryside--by being packaged into an actual, physical INFORMATION storage medium, we call DNA (inside the seed of a willow tree) . And this microscopic molecule, contains the actual, SPECIFIED COMPLEX INFORMATION, with actual, programs, instructions, and algorithms for building BIOLOGICAL SYSTEMS. What really concerns me more than anything else, is WHY ITS so important for the Atheistic Evolutionist, to interject the term Analogy into the question concerning DNA, and the actual type of information it stores? Because of the problem with complexity. Anyone, who has studied the field of computer programming, realizes how exacting that profession is. In order for a program to work at all—each step must be carefully written, or the program will simply not work. As each step of a program is written, it must be tested, and retested, making sure that all the steps that come first, must be correct, before the next step is added. If not, trying to find a simple mistake, inside millions of lines of code, could be next to impossible.
...... This type of information (computer programming) meets the definition of Specified Complexity—and DNA is built the same way. Not only is the information in DNA an actual “computer program” that builds a biological system, but it is a medium of storage, information retrieval, and error correction system—the likes the universe has never seen (BILL GATES) And the vast amount of data contained inside DNA adds exponential complexity to the conundrum that Atheists must deal with.
