Asylum (2020 Remaster)
This "sound painting" is part of a multi-media project I was asked to produce to help mental health professionals understand what it was like in my head as a person who has a particular form of Bi-polar disorder. The music and sound approximate the sounds that go on in my mind constantly. The visuals are artwork made by people who suffer from Bi-Polar or schizophrenia, or artists who interpreted other's visions and sensations. Please note: The composer suggests that, if one desires a more immersive experience with this piece, one should listen to this video with headphones on. A nice buzz-on wouldn't hurt either.
