Transitional Chaos Brings The Fatal Assumption and Disaster

I am very concerned that the current situation is following the model expected of not only Collapse, but of a Disaster. Within the model of some disasters there is a moment of catalyst, a Fatal Assumption. This involves a decision being made that seems like a right and normal choice, but is in that moment the worst possible thing to do. It is the Fatal Assumption that elevates a crisis or an accident to the level of a Disaster and it would seem likely that we are very close to just such a moment.
