Honda Motorcycle Oil and Filter Change 2013-2021

Use this procedure to change the oil and filter on your Honda CBR500r, CB500F, and CB500X Motorcycle!

NOTE: Honda recommends 10w-30 motorcycle oil. I use 10w-40 for better protection during high temps and hard riding. Either oil is fine to use, but 10w-40 is recommended for warmer climates.
