STREAMERS VS COPYRIGHT - G3 SHOW - EP. 31

Gamers today flock to Twitch and YouTube to watch people play games. Many of these streamers, such as Ninja and PewDiePie, have become quite famous and wealthy doing so. So why don't the companies that made the games these people are streaming take any royalties from them? This has forever been a gray area in the gaming industry. The norm has always been "Hey, they're advertising our game for us by playing it to an audience of millions without costing us anything". Will this attitude last forever? What, if any, changes will we see to this model in the future? RedmondGAMER and Palydyn discuss.
