Thailand immigration department is hard to deal with and expensive

Fir me to go the the immigration office I had to spend in return fees 1,540฿. If their website had clear instructions I would spend 225฿ to go to the office near me.
When I arrive to the 1st office, the officer asked me 3 times what I was doing in the immigration department. I replay 3 times to renovate my visa. What he meant to ask was that particluar office in bkk. I showed him their website says we need to go in person to that office but they don't care what it says. I had to travel to my residential district immigration department office. I saw more people there in the same situation as mine followed their instructions to go to bkk. In this 2nd office I found a 78 years old tourist married to a thai lady very stressed with the immigration way of dealing the application to renew a visa. Eventually I got a visa renewed for an extra 8 days to the cost of 1,900฿. Very strange I had to fill up a form for change of address to apply for the visa. I have been on the same address ever since day one in thailand and it is on their records. The more strange is, I could do a address change and use a bkk address were I use to go time to time in the bkk immigration office. So far I (on my covidhoax lockdown in Thailand) I've payed 5,700฿ for visas, plus over 11,000฿ direct paperwork and related expenses to visas.
Possibly I will not be coming to Thailand anymore. When I talk to other foreigners on the internet and in person they all mention Cambodia and mostly mentions Vietnam. I will consider those plus Laos.
The other old man also got a visa extension of 8 days. AUD$1.00 equals 20฿
