These are THE BEST mashed potatoes I've ever tasted and they're SUPER EASY to make! If you've never made homemade mashed potatoes before, you NEED these!

Here is the link to Hanna Glasse's original 1747 cookbook that was owned by at least three of America's Founders (Washington, Jefferson and Franklin). The link opens to pages 98-99 where her recipe for Mashed Potatoes can be seen toward the top of page 99. This is the first known publication to include a recipe for mashed potatoes. Enjoy!
