"Office Chat," How COVID19 is Impacting Women in the Workforce

Currently, women make up 57.4% of the workforce. According to a 2020 study by McKinsey & Company, between 2015 and 2020, women at the SVP level grew from 23 to 28 percent and 17 to 21 percent at the C-Suite.
However when COVID19 hit, 2 million women considered leaving the workforce. Among the reasons given childcare, lack of support (from employers), and mental stress. While COVID19 has impacted many, studies show women were hit the hardest.
