Kurt Schlichter is a trial lawyer based in the Los Angeles area who was personally recruited by Andrew Breitbart to write conservative commentary. He holds a masters degree in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College and he retired from the U.S. Army Infantry as a full colonel. Kurt commanded the 1st Squadron, 18th Cavalry Regiment (Reconnaissance-Surveillance-Target Acquisition), and was deployed to Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom (in Kosovo), plus several civilian support operations including the Los Angeles riots and the San Diego fire crisis. He is also the author of the new Regnery non-fiction book The 21 Biggest Lies about Donald Trump (and You!), and a series of best-selling conservative action novels (soon-to-be-nonfiction if current trends continue): People's Republic, Indian Country, Wildfire, and Collapse.
