For anybody that is curious, yes, there is another Great Dane in some of these videos. That is Apollo, he was a pet and my girl absolutely ADORED him as well! Unfortunately, after moving out of Grand Rapids closer to the lake, we no longer had a fenced yard and Apollo was REALLY good at bolting out the door when it was opened, leash or no leash. My girl worked with him (around law school and other family craziness), but could not trust him enough to not bolt like that. He even went missing for 4 whole days, in the WINTER here (there was snow on the ground at the time)! We got him back, but my girl was not willing to risk him getting hurt or worse any longer, so she ended up re-homing him to a couple of college girls that have been AMAZING with him (she gets updates on him at times). This was a REALLY tough choice for her, but it was the right one for Apollo, so she did what was best for him. So NO hate or grumping or stuff about that, as it was really hard on her and he is in a great place where there is a yard and stuffs. Enjoy and stay safe and sane!
