The Joy House “Fun House” for kids is built on positive self esteem building Joy House Dance Music that teaches, motivates and inspires kids to believe in themselves and feel special. The secret to all success!

Miss Joy started building her dream for kids while teaching dance in South Central in the early 90’s she saw the huge need for kids way back then and decided to create The Joy House TV Sow that aired in Los Angeles on Saturday Mornings for 6 years! As a result in 2007 she was US Finalist for Washingon DC’s’ Cable’s Leaders in Learning’s Award for “Cable in the classroom” for General Excellence for The Joy House TV Show and her vision for kids.

In 2019 The Joy House Preschool and After School Program was was awarded Best of for The Studio City Awards in Los Angeles.

Miss Joy truly believes “It is the busy, kids that know how to stay busy, productive, creative and know how to build their own “happy place” (at an early age) that will be able to get through anything as they go through life. There are way too many lost, bored kids growing up to be lost, lonely, angry and unhappy adults!
Kids just need to be shown and taught they are impressionable and copy everything they see and hear. Music is powerful and the best communicator, teacher and makes all learning FUN! This is what all kids want FUN!

Miss Joy also knows in her heart it is the kids that will change this messed up world! They are the hot young hope!
