Quadruplet Calves Born on Northern California Dairy Farm

In January, 2012, I had the opportunity to visit a local dairy farm where just days earlier, a cow had given birth to quadruplets. A very rare occurrence, but this was even more unique: all four calves were female, all were healthy, and the mother survived the birth. Almost unheard of!
