Dose-Response by Phytoplankton to Carbon Dioxide

Students learn about photosynthesis and carbon sequestration by subjecting samples of nutrient-enriched pond water to different levels of carbon dioxide. The gas was obtained by dissolving Alka-Seltzer in water.
