A representative of the ACLU Arizona reportedly said “Make no mistake, these are political prosecutions.” ACLU, as you know, is an acronym for American Civil Liberties Union an organization that is largely discredited by rational, sane, and mentally stable Americans.

Let me just throw this in parenthetically while I'm thinking of it. Calling yourself a watermelon doesn't make you a watermelon. And calling yourself an advocate of civil liberties doesn't make you an advocate of civil liberties. I'm a die-hard libertarian-slash-conservative and I take offense when people abuse the terms 'civil liberties' and 'liberal' to re-frame themselves as something they are not.

According to bigleaguepolitics.com, “18 Left-wing militants have been charged with various counts of rioting, unlawful assembly, aggravated assault on a police officer, hindering prosecution, criminal damage and obstructing a public thoroughfare. The arrests were made on October 18th, during a Black Lives Matter riot where a Phoenix police squad car was destroyed and rioters deployed smoke devices at law enforcement.”

Correct me if I'm wrong, here, but rioting, assaulting a police officer, obstructing a thoroughfare, torching a police cruiser, and tossing smoke devices as cops does not fall under the protective umbrella of free speech. And, correct me if I'm wrong again, but I don't think leftists truly understand what free speech is or, if they understand, they are intentionally pretending they don't understand.

Elsewhere, “a controversial pro-Western collective of patriotic rowdies” known as The Proud Boys stood down an Antifa 'soy boy' in Georgia. Patriots are in the state to press for an honest audit of votes. Where patriots gather, Antifa follows.
