Great Loop Travel Days 4-6 Ingram Bayou, Navarra Beach, Burnt Mill Creek.
Traveling from Mobile, AL Dog River Marina to Ingram Bayou on Day 4 , got a late start as we waited on the wind to drop from 14kts to 9kts Windy was showing winds of 14kts and 4.2ft waves.. , so we left around noon. Passed a large tow and then cut out of the channel to short cut mobile bay .. most of the time was in 9-12 ft of water, occasionally hitting a patch of 8ft water. Tide was coming off low’s moving to highs. Got to our Anchorage an hour before sunset.
Day5: Had beautiful sunrise and headed out to Navarra Beach for Juana's
Left around 9:30am. Crossed Perdido Bay around 9:50am, Beautiful area between GICW mm52 and MM29, if timing had been better would have considered anchoring out and hitting the beach at Gulf Islands National Park , but was too windy and cold, still 42 degrees.
Day 6: Another beautiful sunrise and it was off to Burnt Mill Creek Anchorage Had one close call, A Tow ( Kimberly Ann) was holding a barge against a loading dock and blocking the bridge access at the West Bay Creek Bridge. Had to go around him, and got into less than 4 ft of water briefly due to being pushed sideways from prop wash. Was not too happy with him blocking access to the only path under the bridge and not responding to repeated hailing They really should not have a barge loading/unloading station there it should be a half mile away to allow boats to pass while they are unloading
