Liberty Looks up

We have to learn to fight, to contend for the Gospel and all that is Good, True, and Beautiful. Being a peacemaker is not a refusing to rise to the occasion of battle, but knowing that the reason why you make a stand is for a cause greater than your own. Only by standing for and with Christ can real liberty be found, and we keep our eyes above to keep from going astray. The pathway is narrow and straight, and it cannot be navigated by accident. The Gospel must be contended for and we must bear our cross and stand firm with Christ. Liberty has her eyes set above, reaching for the great providence of God.
