Just the other day I was using one of the Crypto apps to get money from my bank account into crypto so I could make some investments. I was shocked to see in my Preview of Transaction page charges of 3.99%, which in this instance added $34.00 to my $1,000 BTC purchase. This was a total shock because on this particular app, I was accustomed to 1.99% or less. This immediately put me search mode to find another app to use. Low and behold, I had an old (Classic) version of Uphold on my phone and tried to do the same transaction and discovered they were charging the same type of fee. Kind of upset with the whole thing at that point, I opened a chat with Uphold Support. They instructed me to use their new Uphold Wallet (version 4.0) which charges 0% Commissions, 0% credit/debit card deposits, 0% withdrawal fees. You only incur Bitcoin networking fee or banking transaction fees. This was great! The transaction process was smooth and the Uphold also allow you to purchase precious metals and stocks right from within the app. Today was the day I needed help and the Uphold Wallet (version 4.0) saved the day!
