The L.A.P.D. Lab Tech almost tiptoed into Cap Jack's office. Without saying a word, the Lab Tech slipped a crumpled up envelope onto a corner of Jack's desk. Jack looked up from the open file he was perusing. He blinked. Then he reached out and plucked up the
crumpled envelope. Smoothing the envelope out, he saw writing in a familiar hand. He squinted and read a name. 'Elizabeth Hornsbeck'
He reached down and pulled out a lower deck drawer. He looked closely at the number of cell phones in the back of the drawer. He finally found the one he wanted and pulled it out.
