DEFENSIVE CARBINE 1

This is a NO BS, fast paced, personal protection course designed to test you and your equipment. You will learn what works best for YOU and why. WATCH THE VIDEO TO SEE ACTUAL VIDEOS OF PAST COURSES.

TOPICS COVERED: Each block of instruction is focused on Personal-Protection and not target shooting.

- SETUP: Equipment setup from Sights, Lights, Lasers, Grips, Stocks, Braces, Folders, Gas Systems, Suppressors, Slings, Mag Carriers, Battle Belts, Chest Rigs, Body Armor and more.

- ZERO: Understanding which Zero is best for you and your application. Line of sight vs Trajectory and Offset, Understanding Internal, External and Terminal Ballistics as it applies to Self-Defense.

- SELF-DEFENSE TARGETS: Understanding how Circle and Silhouette Targets inhibit your ability to place fast and accurate shots on actual threats. We’ll show you how training with Life Like 3D Anatomy Targets decrease your reaction times and increase your defensive accuracy.

- READY POSITIONS: Understanding the WHY, HOW, and WHEN to use each.

- TRANSITIONS: Understanding the WHY, HOW and WHEN to change for right to left and back again.

- COVER & CONCEALMENT: Understanding how it affects the fight!
- MOVEMENT: Moving toward the known and unknown, Pivots, Turns, Forward, Backward, Lateral, Zig Zag and Box drills.

- CONFIDENCE DRILLS: This is where you’ll put it all together and be amazed at what you can accomplish!

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Modern Carbine in good functional condition, 500 rnds minimum, 1000 rnds if you want to challenge yourself. 6 Magazines, Speed Loader, Dump Pouch, Serviceable Sling. If needed all equipment is available to rent. Steel cased ammo is allowed, No Steel Core, No Steel Tip, No Green Tip, No Penetrators or Incendiary ammunition allowed.

ALL 4 hours are hands on learning in our Private Tactical Bay, this is our classroom.
