Utah Attorney General On Illegal Immigrant ID Theft In 2005

How times have changed.
In 2005, the AG (Mark Shurtleff) stated "...are no respecters of age, now they will steal your children's identity, ruin their credit, and hurt them in ways we never thought possible before the kids even graduate from grade school." The majority of suspects are illegal immigrants. Shurtleff then states "Let me tell the illegal aliens out there that they come here, they steal our kids identity, thrash their credit - we catch them, not only are we going to prosecute them, but we're going to deport them."

He had also teamed up with the Social Security Admin, ICE, and Utah Workforce Services.

All the above apparently comes with an expiration date. Contrast the above to what his feelings are on this issue in 2010-2011:
