Making Stuffed Shells
I show how to make stuffed shells. Very easy to make. You can make extras and freeze them so you can take them out later to save time.
Stuffing:
3 pounds of Ricotta cheese
2 cups of grated Parmesan cheese
4 cups of shredded Mozzarella cheese
3 Tbsp of dried parsley
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp nutmeg
4 eggs whisked
Pasta:
2 12 ounce boxes of giant shells
2 tsp of salt
Place the salt in 5 quarts of boiling water and add the shells. Cook for 14 minutes and then strain. Rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Place all stuffing ingredients in a bowl and thoroughly mix. Stuff shells with mix.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Use a 8x8 pyrex container and place your homemade tomato sauce to coat the bottom. Arrange the shells and then cover with tomato sauce. Bake in oven for 45 minutes.
