There are many versions of this,
mentally, financially, physically, spiritually.

They all start and end from within.

No one taught me this, no one showed me this.
There are times it's hard, really hard and I would much prefer to do something else. That is how I know Steve or any other man with the courage to share these experiences with me feels - the act of doing it, incredibly difficult (this video not the actual DFP).

Believe it or not, there is many things I could and would rather be doing at times.

The same way I know, the weekend, the bottle, the television, the negative thinking, we think it's the better option at the time. The easier way.

Until everything seems to become to hard.
Impossible even.
A self made prison in which you are the guard and the prisoner.
Many people don't like me, I couldn't get give a fuck.
I didn't like the man who I was, I love the man I am now.

I love God, the DFP, the men like Steve that will fight their own battle and help other men do the same.
Steve knows I am no angel.
The DFP isn't the Dan Fitts show.

It's just a path way out of the dark, I just happened to be the one with enough balls to bring it into reality.

As you might find this hard to believe, offering a life line to men in society who are in this place, more often then not brings out the worst in people, not the best version of them - at first.

But it is what I do. And I do it well.
And without men like Steve, there would be no DFP,
there would be no bright future for his family and friends and the people who he can pass these teachings on to.
And I wouldn't waste my time.

Unfortunately though, I have just scraped the surface of the problem. They say God gives the toughest tasks to his strongest soldiers.
We will see.
