DK Warinner, despite suffering from chronic anxiety from an early age, developed achievement habits that led to 3 college degrees in engineering and business (including an MBA from Chicago Booth). DK found his zone of genius in systems engineering, leading to accomplishments in vehicle design, invention (4 patents), manufacturing process optimization, and sales and operations strategy.

DK has more than 2 decades of professional experience at both Fortune 500 companies and small / medium size businesses. DK enjoys long term collaborations as well as consulting, speaking, and training opportunities.

After several decades of research and practice in meditation and martial arts, DK leveraged his systems background to distill a simple process (i.e. one Habit!) that CLEARED that anxiety problem from his life – yes, you heard that right. Then he built it into a transferable process to help others to do the same – The DK Method. Two comments from those who have experienced this life-changing process:

I’ve never heard anyone simplify a process that much…
If you have a chance to work with Derek, I highly recommend that you do!

Before I worked with Derek, I was nervous, my mind was everywhere – as a result of learning Derek’s calming technique, I was able to calm my thoughts and become more confident in my speaking.

DK teaches the Method individually, in groups, and online.

DK’s personal life is a constant “staycation” where he enjoys his family of 10 (yes, that’s 8 children). How he got 8 children with his wife Sarah of 25 years is a story for another day, except to say that 3 of them (Lucas, Matthew, and Rose) came from opportunities to adopt special-needs children internationally. He and Sarah heard their story, and their hearts went out to them. The adoption journey is detailed in DK’s book, Sky Children! DK has written books on customer experience and career development as well.
