Under the Influence is a series created to dive deeper into the music that has helped mold our beings. We all hold on to certain music throughout life that has made an incredible impact on the way we think, the way we love, and the way we view life. This series takes viewers down the path of five musicians and the music that helped to mold them into who they are today. On this journey we not only learn the music that has influenced these musicians, but also how they’ve been influenced throughout life’s joyous and trying times.

John Boyle is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Indianapolis. John's 2018 debut release of Early Lights marks his first solo album following five years performing with the jazz quartet Tripel. Lending his influences in jazz and blues to acoustic songwriting, John focuses on lyrical honesty and a tenor of reflection in his songs. John Boyle is now performing solo and with his full band in support of Early Lights across the mid-west.
