Drive Time

I came up with this intro riff on my commute to work, I was having trouble getting the drum beat to work out until switched the time signature to 8/8. this allowed me to get enough variations in my beat to divide the timing up correctly, basically sections of 3,3,2 beats per measure. this gives it a driving feel and since I thought of it during my daily drive I called it drive time
