104
Texas International Airlines Flight 655 crashed into the north face of Black Fork Mountain near Mena, Arkansas, while trying to skirt a thunderstorm during the night of September 27, 1973. Eleven people lost their lives when the airliner, a Convair 600, collided with the mountain. We have researched this crash for several years, and this video shows what the site was like during our fourth visit in August 2014. We've since visited the site in 2018 and 2019. Photos from our other site visits can be found here: https://www.okwreckchasing.org/Texas-International-Flight-655
