Kayaking Clear Lake, underwater video

This video is some amazing footage of the 3000 year old submerged forest located at Clear Lake Oregon by Sisters. While there are several lakes called Clear Lake around the country, this one has not only the crystal clear COLD waters, but the forest that was submerged 3000 years ago after the eruption of Sand Mountain, blocking the river and creating this truly amazing sight. Great care should be taken here when Kayaking as you never know when you might hit one of these trees just below the surface. And trust me, you do not want to go swimming here in these very cold waters from snow melt from Mt, Washington. The water spends nearly 20 years filtering through lava rock to emerge at the Ancient spring which now feeds this lake of wonder.
