Christ’s second touch

In Mark 8:24, Jesus meets a blind man and leads him out of the town, makes a spittle and places it on the blind’s eyes for healing.

However, at the first touch the formerly blind man saw men as trees, the image was not clear as expected until Christ touched him again, let alone instructing him never to go back to the town they had originally met.

Today, Christians don’t wait for the second touch but instead run away while they still see men as trees, and return to the problematic town only to lose deliverance!
