The spaghettification of irreducible complexity: ATP drives its own creation

I am super excited about this one. This was my first attempt at filming in a studio setting, but even more important is the subject matter. We are going to look into what it takes to manufacture a single protein that is used in the ATP synthase motor...and how much ATP is required! DNA synthesis, transcription, and translation are things we all learned about in school. They are required for ATP synthase to even exist, but they also burn up huge amounts of ATP. Looking at the details spaghettifies the concept of irreducible complexity.

Who needs to see this? Any science teacher, any student in high school or college biology, and anyone with enough 'nerd' in them to relish digging into the details of cellular biochemistry.
