Born Again To A Living Hope

The new birth gives us authority to become a child of God. The Holy Spirit gives new spiritual life to our human spirit. The Holy Spirit places us (immerses, baptizes) us into the Body of Christ, and we receive the Spirit of Christ to identify us as belonging to Christ. The new birth is the point of beginning of our salvation, the event of our salvation, setting our human spirit free (delivering) us from the power of involuntary slavery to sin. We have a hope and an inheritance in Jesus Christ.
