Hebrews Chapter 2 - The Perfect Man

This is an expository study of Hebrews Chapter 2. The first 4 verses of Hebrews Chapter 2 actually conclude Hebrews Chapter 1. They are a warning to Christians. After looking at this warning, we take a brief look at Old Testament scriptures from which the remainder Hebrews Chapter 2 draws more conclusions. In Chapter 2 we will see that mankind is under subjection to something. We are being ruled over by something. Understanding what this something is explains why Jesus had to become a man, become a human being. Jesus became our brother. Jesus initiated a familial relationship with mankind by becoming human. And as a human, Jesus overcomes the very thing we are in subjection to, the very thing for which we are enslaved.
