It moved off slowly into the trees and fog high above me along the rugged coastline and out of sight. That was the last time I’d see him, the last time I’d be crabbing with bigfoot…
I pulled up the last crab pot, and while I know these things are probably dangerous, I felt an emotion I’d had not felt in a very long time as he disappeared, the feeling of loss.
