23abc's Tori Cooper spoke with Kern County Chief Communications Officer Megan Person on the number of people that have dropped off their ballot today, as well as any of the problems voters have encountered while trying to vote. The polls closed right at 8 p.m., and many people who tried to turn in their ballots in drop boxes were turned away. Those who were already waiting in line when the polls closed were still able to vote.
