Lonely little penguin discovered on this famous Galapagos Island

Penguins inhabit the Antarctic and the southern tip of the continent of Africa. We don't expect to see them anywhere else, as they require a cold climate. We certainly would never expect to see them in tropical areas or near the equator. Yet, there is a species of penguin that thrives almost directly on the equator in the Galapagos Islands.
