The EFF has joined the contract workers at the milnerton refinery in their fight to access their UIF money. They are planning to march to the Labour Department in the Cape Town CBD. This comes as contract workers at Astron Energy refinery in Milnerton have still not seen any payouts for months. The company is accused of failing to pay UIF Covid-19 Ters benefits to some of its contract workers. The individuals concerned are working for contracting companies at the Astron Energy refinery in Milnerton.
