This ADAPTION was taught to me by my JKD SIFU TIM TACKETT. whereas, my other SIFU BOB BREMER was taught by BRUCE LEE his teacher to make contact with the blade of the foot. SIFU TACKETT EXPLAINED THAT MAKING CONTACT WITH THE BOTTOM OF THE HEEL IS STRUCTURALLY MORE SOUND THAN THE BLADE OF THE FOOT.
