The first measurable snow on average happens on October 21st in the Fox Valley. We are a few days late, but it looks like tonight has a good opportunity. Tonight will be cold with overnight lows in the upper 20s with a light north wind. Light snow will continue with minor accumulations under an inch. Almost all of the snow should be on the grass and elevated surfaces, but there could be a few slick spots on the road. Clouds will gradually decrease during your Monday with high temperatures in the upper 30s. Temperatures will remain in the upper 30s to near 40 for Tuesday with partly cloudy skies. We have a small warm-up Wednesday with highs in the mid to upper 40s. Some slightly warmer weather will move in during the later part of the week with highs in the mid and upper 40s. A very dry period of weather is currently forecast.
