Howard Frankland Bridge barriers will soon be taller after dozens of crashes over the bridge

It’s something that’s happened dozens of times: Cars plunging into the water off the Howard Frankland Bridge after flipping over the concrete barricades or smashing through the chain link fence on the Tampa and St. Petersburg sides of the bridge.
