South Africa - Cape Town - 08 February 2019 - Dozens of onlookers marvel at Buffel the seal, who has come ashore on Fish Hoek Beach to moult (shed his skin and fur). Buffel is an Southern Elephant seal that was first tagged in 2014 at Cape Point. Since then he has regularly come ashore around Cape Town, spending 3 months at Duiker Island in Hout Bay last year.
