SOUTH AFRICA - Cape Town - 6 November 2019 - Animal Welfare Society of South Africa and Cape of Good Hope SPCA each reported one significant injury to a dog which escaped it’s homes in terror due to fireworks being set off on Tuesday night during Guy Fawkes celebrations..
Cross breed pit bull and fox terrier, Storm escaped her home in Lotus River and injured her right paw and left leg scaling a wall and attempting to squeeze through a neighbor’s gate
A few kilometers away in Pelican Park, a two year old, Boerboel, called Troy escaped in terror as his owner tried to bring him indoors after he heard the sound of fireworks being set off. Video: Tracey Adams/African News Agency(ANA) (bik)
