SOUTH AFRICA - Cape Town - 30 November 2019 - Premier Alan Winde lead a 16 Days of Activism march to commemorate the children who have lost their lives in gang violence, and to highlight the need to protect the most vulnerable in society. The march was held in Bonteheuwel, where the introduction of 100 law enforcement officers in the community earlier this year has helped to improve safety in the area. The 2km route began at the Bonteheuwel Civic Centre and ended at the Bonteheuwel Community Hall, where a fun day of activities including face painting, games and a jumping castle is planned.
