On Wednesday, 12 February 2019, Democratic Alliance (DA) Leader, John Steenhuisen MP, will deliver the Alternative State of the Nation Address (ASONA) ahead of Thursday’s State of the Nation Address (SONA). Over the last two weeks, he embarked on the “Real State of the Nation” tour, visiting communities to engage and interact with South Africans from all walks of life, listening to their daily challenges and struggles in a quest to assess the real state of our nation.
